Breakaway Player Visits
Does your youth hockey team want a visit from the Maine Mariners? Verizon and the Maine Mariners have partnered to increase access to their players all season long. Players can join a practice, help with a clinic or even participate in a community skate. The Mariners will visit at least one organization per month with the goal of increasing awareness of the youth hockey program that we visit.
How will we do that?
- Collaborative social posts of players visits!
- Verizon Breakaway Player of the Month
- Selected by youth hockey organization that hosted players during month and awarded to outstanding youth player
- Criteria can include on-ice performance, attitude, sportsmanship, work ethic, etc.
- Player will receive four tickets to game of choice
- Player and youth hockey organization recognized at game with PA welcome announcement
- Player and youth hockey organization to be listed on this page!
