The Mariners make their long awaited return on Friday, October 22nd as they host their rivals, the Worcester Railers for a 7:15 PM puck drop. We will salute our local healthcare workers and be giving away magnet schedules at the door. We also have other surprises in store to celebrate our new affiliation with the Boston Bruins!

Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021 – 3:00 PM

Fight off the Sunday Scaries with a Halloween afternoon contest between the Mariners and Reading Royals at 3 PM! Fans are encouraged to dress in costume and there will be contests and Halloween music & activities throughout the game. Kids can stick around after for a post-game locker room trick-or-treat!

Friday, Nov. 5, 2021 – 7:15 PM

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and also the month of “Movember,” a hockey-centric men’s health initiative. The Mariners will be raising money for the Dempsey Center (founded by movie star and Lewiston native Patrick Dempsey) for those impacted by cancer through a special ticket package and other opportunities throughout the game.

Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 – 7:15 PM

One day after Veteran’s Day is Military Appreciation Night, presented by Martin’s Point, honoring the men and women who served and continue to serve the country. The Mariners will wear special camouflage jerseys, which were voted on by the fans last year, as they host the expansion Trois-Rivieres Lions.

Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 – 6:00 PM

Get ready to toss those stuffed animals after the Mariners first goal! The Mariners will also be wearing “Elf” jerseys, and fans are encouraged to dress up like Santa Claus! Holiday music and festivities will fill the air!

Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021 – 3:00 PM

It’s all about the kids on a Wednesday afternoon during holiday break! Members of Beacon’s Kids Club will help with the game presentation and get the chance to participate in experiences like dropping the puck and watching warmups from the bench! Other activities for kids of all ages will be happening throughout the game.

Friday, Dec. 31, 2021 – 5:00 PM

Ring in 2022 with the Mariners! A long-standing Portland hockey tradition, the New Year’s Eve game returns to the Cross Insurance Arena on the final day of 2021, as the Mariners host Trois-Rivieres. More details to come!

Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022 – 3:00 PM

We’re celebrating our new affiliation with the Boston Bruins! The Mariners announced their new agreement with the B’s on June 30th, 2021, completing the Maine-Boston sports affiliate trifecta! The familiar Bruins black and gold color scheme will be featured, and fans will be encouraged to wear their Bruins gear.

Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 – 6:00 PM

Our popular “Throwback Night” returns, which will also emphasize “throwing it back” to the 1990s – the last time a Bruins affiliate played in Portland! Ticket prices from the 1990s will make a comeback – with all tickets $8 for the game. Season ticket holders will receive a commemorative throwback ticket stub and a giveaway will be 90s themed. Alumni appearances included as always.

Get your cowboy boots and hats ready for a country celebration as the Mariners host the South Carolina Stingrays! Enjoy ountry music throughout the night and more details to come…

Saturday, Mar. 26, 2022 – 6:00 PM

The much anticipated “Maine Wild Blueberries” will return on Saturday, March 26th. We’ll once again experience “what could have been,” if the team naming contest had gone differently, as the Mariners become the Wild Blueberries for a night, including the return of the now-famous jerseys. Oakhurst Dairy sponsors the game, which is part of one of four “3Kends” throughout the season, presented by Three Dollar Deweys.
