Player Bio

HOW HE GOT HERE: Acquired in September 2018 from the Adirondack Thunder in exchange for D Matias Cleland
CONTRACT STATUS: Maine Mariners

Although he’s a native of Pennsylvania, Wallin has Maine ties with family in Kennebunk and joined the Mariners via the first trade in franchise history with the Adirondack Thunder in September of 2018. He was named an Alternate Captain following a career season with the Thunder in 2017-18. Wallin had 50 points in 59 games for Adirondack and was subsequently loaned to the AHL’s Binghamton Devils for four games. During 2018-19, Wallin earned multiple stints in Hartford, playing 23 games for the Wolf Pack in addition to his 41 with Maine. Wallin has taken a unique journey, playing NCAA DI hockey at UMass-Lowell and then beginning his pro career in the SPHL with Peoria in 2015-16. He had a second stint with Peoria after an initial chance in Adirondack didn’t pan out.
