HOW HE GOT HERE: Acquired from the Wichita Thunder in February 2019 in exchange for F Jason Salvaggio
CONTRACT STATUS: Maine Mariners

Cammarata joined the Mariners in mid-February 2019 and ended up as their leading scorer, with 56 points in 73 games – 22 in 21 as a Mariner. A four year Minnesota Golden Gopher, graduating in 2017, the Mariners are Cammarata’s fourth ECHL team. After a solid 2017-18 season with South Carolina, which included MVP of the 2018 All-Star Classic, he signed with the Norfolk Admirals to start 2018-19. Norfolk dealt him to the Wichita Thunder in January 2019, and he was flipped to the Mariners less than a month later. In two seasons of Junior hockey as a member of the USHL’s Waterloo Black Hawks, Cammarata racked up the accolades. Cammarata won USHL Rookie of the Year in 2011-12 and was named USA Hockey Junior Player of the Year and USHL Player of the Year in 12-13 when he posted 93 points (38 G, 55 A) in 59 games. He led the league in both points and goals.
