HOW HE GOT HERE: Signed an SPC in January 2019
CONTRACT STATUS: Maine Mariners

The “unsung hero” of 2018-19, as labeled by the coaching staff, Fox got his first extended look in the ECHL with the Mariners after nearly three full seasons in the SPHL. From the end of his college career in 2016, through the end of 2017-18, Fox was a member of the now-defunct Mississippi RiverKings. In January of 2018, Fox was loaned to the Reading Royals and played in 10 games, with a goal and two assists – all in the same game. After not making the Royals opening night roster, Fox began 2018-19 with the SPHL’s Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs. The Mariners called upon him in January of 2019 and he stuck. Fox put up 26 points (16 goals, 10 assists) in 37 games, including three multi-goal performances. The 16 goals ranked him third on the team, behind Taylor Cammarata and Greg Chase, each of whom played nearly double the amount of games. Fox played NCAA DIII hockey at SUNY Plattsburgh.
