Kile became the first player in Mariners ECHL history when he signed a free agent deal in late June of 2018. Kile was on nearly a point per game pace with the Mariners when he earned AHL stints in Utica, Hartford and Laval in the final calendar months of 2018. His January 2nd loan to Laval would see him stick there for the rest of the season, appearing in 33 games with five goals and two assists. For the Mariners, Kile scored 13 goals and added seven assists in 22 games in 2018-19. He has previous ECHL experience with Cincinnati (2017-18) and has AHL time with the Rochester Americans, who signed him to his first pro deal in March 2017 after he finished at the University of Michigan. Kile was the Wolverines Captain in his senior season. He’s also a former USHL Clark Cup Champion with the Green Bay Gamblers in 2011-12.
